Fire Services Administration
The U.S. Fire Administration recognizes Idaho State University as an official FESHE institution, and this degree program closely follows the FESHE curriculum.
National Fire Academy Course Certificates
Any ISU student successfully completing a FESHE curriculum course is eligible to apply for individual course certificates from the National Fire Academy FESHE Recognition Program. These certificates are the same as those awarded for resident courses at the NFA in Emmitsburg, Maryland. In addition, the National Fire Academy will provide an NFA transcript showing completed courses.
FSA
ISU’s Fire Services Administration program was created to meet the needs of the rapidly changing profession of fire services. The industry demands dedicated leaders and critical thinkers who can make sound, effective decisions. Our courses are taught by experienced, ranking fire officers whose background provides them with the knowledge and experience to ensure student success.
We offer both the associate of science and bachelor of science degrees.
